| Quality makes the difference....Again - 18th June 2009 |
|
|
Mark,
Once again the bait is proving outstanding and despite some learning new venue errors from me Im catching more than I should be!
As you know Im tackling a new venue this year, far harder than the Manor, a No publicity lake which is certainly the hardest venue Ive ever fished in the last 20 years. Ten fish in a season is a result. The fish are spooky as hell, have loads of weed to hide in, loads of Natural food to eat and generally avoid the angler at all costs! Cast anything more than a 1 1/2 ounce lead and you wont see the fish at your end of the lake for a while. So how the hell do you outwit fish like this? Bait and the best quality bait you can get your hands on. Enter the Super K boilies and Pellets
I started dropping a few baits in during the close season, not much, just well placed bait in spots the fish frequent in the hope that the quality would shine through. So its June and Ive been able to do very limited time, ive been very inconsistant with any baiting and still we have success. The fish are all stunners and the best are yet to come. Ill hopefully show you the photos later in the year!!
Thanks for providing yet another super quality bait, proving its not all about how many Kilos you can put in!

Well it had to happen! The fish have been slow moving onto bolies but their on them now! Here's my first out on the special K, a cracking common at 32lb 4 oz, but spawned out, was probably 36ish last week! Not bad for an overnighter eh!
Cheers Mark

| Gigantica May '09 - 14th May 2009 |
|
|
After the lake we booked last year being closed 8 days before our French Trip last week and being diverted to Gigantica as the first full booking i've just come back from a very hard weeks fishing. Only 7 of the 10 of us caught (20 fish between us) as the lake warms up with the biggest fish of the week at 34lb - but it was his first carp.
I banked 2 (22lb8oz and 29lb10oz) and lost 1, all on 15mm T1 with a pineapple top, and although they weren't the size I was hoping for the 29 is one of the nicest looking fish you could hope to catch.
Continue to get results everywhere I take T1 though so thanks again! |
