Just a quick night after work on friday, and i had another bite form the syndicate, just an upper double but at least a bite. Water still cold and people struggleing to get bites, but hopefully the bigger ones will put in an apperance soon. Come on the 'Special K'.

Hello Mark,
AT last here are the pics of the32lb 4oz mirror i had from a local pit, (not snake pit)
I had it fishing under the tips fishing next to a marginal bush.
Single hookbait and 3 halved bait next to it, No need to prebatit with the new bait, Its good straight from the off.
Many thank to jerry hammond for his help, Also many thanks to you mark as well for supplying me with a bait i am 100% confident in.

| First Fish From the syndicate - 16th March 2009 |

It was my second trip out of the year, as the lake has been frozen for a good while, and since it hasn't been frozen I have not had the chance to get down untill the last two weeks. On the first trip I saw the odd fish moving but didn't have a bite, but didn't think it would be long untill a fish would be out. I baited up various spots mid-week and fished it on the Saturday night and I had my first bite on the Sunday morning, 21lb 12oz, not the biggest in the lake by far, but very grateful as it was one of the first fish out since November. I think the 'Special K' is going to be a good bait for me this year.

Hi mark ,
First good show at five lakes nice to meet you in person.
Managed to get fishing on friday 13th march should have been fishing bundys but when i arrived lake was very busy so i decided to go to a local day ticket water for a few hours.
This was the first time i had used special k at this water but was well impressed to have a run within an hour of being there, a nice 18 lb 2oz and in the afternoon had a 21 lb 4oz both commons.
I was very pleased with this short day session and look forward to many more productive trips.
Sorry no photos as there was no-one else around will send some next time.

| hello mark thanks for the bait i had my first fish on the new bait on the 6th march well chuffed its the first fish out since early november and i had the fish on a chod rig with one of your pop ups doing the buisness , saw it stick its head out and cast to where it was fizzing the temp at the time was about -3 to -4 and i had a pick within five minutes of chucking out.I am well pleased as the water has only seen 2 kilo of the new bait on test and only has 35 carp in 4 acers and is known as a fairly hard water many thanks paul......... |

| Just returned from a 2 night session on a Colne Valley pit and had a 25lb common, pictured above. Whilst on the mat it was passing out bait, nice to know they like it. |
