Steve Grace has been fishing seriously for carp for over 10 years preferring to fish in his native North West. He jointly runs three syndicate lakes and is a current member of the Mangrove Syndicate. Steve’s passion is fishing for home grown “history” fish and this thinking has been carried through into his syndicates stocking policy were these fish are making their own piece of NW history.

Steve has been around long enough to know that consistency in bait is crucial to consistency in his fishing. He started using T1 3 years ago getting to know Baitcraft through supplying commercial rolling tables. This relationship has led to Steve having some of the best catches that he has ever made and continues to catch many big carp for his area of the country.
This season Steve has taken a huge number of big fish to 37lb from the Mangrove including a couple of ‘hits’ which have included over a seasons worth of fish for many on the venue. These sessions mainly consist of 48hr trips were he regularly gets through 7-10kg of T1.
Steve ‘walks the walk’ achieving ‘against the odds’ on limited time and his unwavering loyalty to Baitcraft results in his addition to our ‘homegrown’ field team.
