Tommy has been carp angling since the age of 14, so for about 26 years and still loves it. His personal best common and mirror is 22.8kg (50.30 lbs) and 24kg (52.90lbs) respectively.
He now fishes a lot in France as well as his home country on a variety of waters, from lakes to canals and rivers. He likes a challenge so he's not an angler who likes to fish long an a venue, a few sessions and he's off to the next water to start to unravel it's secrets.
His fav water´s are the harder ones where you need some skill to catch carp.
Tommy says 'I am a big believer in the use of good baits (that will make a difference in my catch rate) the use of a simple (but good) rig will catch as many, but it needs to be put in the right place! Don’t wait for the carp to come to you but be mobile, don’t claim a swim, because you put yourself in a bad possision!'
