Hi All,
There's been some debate on a couple of forums lately regarding the use of the various milk protein fractions. There is no doubt that times are hard and bait companies budgets are under increasing pressure, in fact I'd go so far as to say the quality of commercial bait available in the shops has never been worse particularly the shelflife gear and the stuff smashed out by 'time is money' contract rollers.
So with that in mind I'd just like to take this opportunity to assure you that we are still using milk protein fractions particularly whey protein concentrate and casein in various forms. I won't ever produce anything I wouldn't use myself and I want these proteins in my bait period. I'm using the Super K on Savay at the moment and we've been seeing them eat it so it's gotta be a question of time before the next Savay carp succumbs to K fever. Craig's 38 was an excellent start lets hope the Cabbie and I can get in on the action soon.
My first Savay fish of the season fell foul of an experimental hook bait but with the spawning over now it's time for the hardcore fishmeal products and I'm on the K. I've used it to good effect on the Cons amongst other venues so I'm going all out for my first K caught Savay fish - wish me luck!
